As clinicians, we continue to hear the importance of keeping up with research and supporting our practice with evidence-based practices. Unfortunately, reading all these articles is usually not realistic when we consider our schedules and the size of our caseload.  As we try our best to make the time, here are some reminders on why it's important to include evidence-based practices in our practice.

• Provides you with the expertise to make informed decisions about the appropriate services for each one of your patients/clients and their families. 

• Give you a framework that's easy to follow or modify for your caseload. 

• By using evidence-based practices, we comply with ASHA Code of Ethics.
